Lab Days 2019

  • Nov 5, 2019

The PDST organising two lab-days over the coming weeks.

These are an annual event, and are designed to help us all make the most of what facilities we have to let students become involved in practical work. The days involve a look at a range of practical demonstrations as well as all of the LC Mandatory Experiments.

We will also take a little time to look at how practical work can be managed in the school.

The Dublin Event also includes an introductory session for the Virtual Physics Laboratory - a suite of over 300 interactive virtual demonstrations that can be used in the classroom. (More details available here).

Those who participate in the training can then download a fully working version of the software.
