The Institute of Physics (IOPI) and The Irish Science Teachers' Association (ISTA) -Dublin Branch, will run a training WEBINAR on the outstanding Virtual Physics Lab Software.

Tues 31st March 7-8pm

The Virtual Physics Laboratory is a suite of 380 interactive simulations and virtual experiments developed by the National Physics Laboratory. It can be used by teachers as a demonstration tool for students, or it can be set up on a schools IT system and used by students as part of their own investigations. It even has a few games.

Over 70 of these experiments can be used for Junior Cycle Physics and Maths and Applied Maths.

This valuable resource will be distributed free of charge to all participants who 'attend' this event. In order to receive a copy and licence you must attend an official demonstration session.

During the session, there will also be an opportunity IOPI supports for teachers, and discuss teaching strategies and challenges at this time of school closures and crisis.

Priority will be given to those who registered for the recently cancelled event
