The Robert Boyle Summer School advertises itself as 'a festival about science but not (just) for scientists,' that takes place annually between Lismore and Waterford.
This year it is focussing on the connections between science and art.
Highlights include talks on Hooke's Micrographia and the work of Leonardo da Vinci, alongside panel discussions, workshops - and an evening garden party on the grounds of Lismore Castle.
A full weekend pass costs € 100, but cheaper tickets can be bought for individual events too.
