The Robert Boyle Winter School takes place on Saturday, January 25th.

The Winter School has set out to provide a platform in recent years for discussion and debate on current issues in Science, and it celebrates Science as part of the Cultural identity of Ireland.
Each year it brings together specialists and non-specialists around a particular theme for discussion, debate and reflection. This years theme is "the Brain: past, present, and future".
Speakers include:
- Prof Dara Cannon University of Galway, President of Neuro Science Ireland
- Prof Richard Roche Maynooth University
- Brian Trench, emeritus Dublin City University
