The marking scheme for this years LC exam has been now been released online: here
I'd have one or two gripes, but isn't that always the way. In general it seems fair, and very much in keeping with what I'm sure most of us expected.
One oddity in the paper that I'd missed is that in q 12, students were asked to state the principle of conversation of energy. I wonder how many even noticed the error/typo/autocorrect-fail, but I see that any answer is being awarded 3 marks to make up for any confusion.
There should be an IOP-sponsored meeting in September to discuss the paper and its marking. I'll post details as soon as I have them.
